I'm back again! Sorry for not continue writing~

Well, lots of thing happened since the last time i wrote it! I didn't expect such a thing could happened so fast between both of us...Thanks to my friend this time , that i'm lucky to know early! If not i would be another victim! That's why i'm away for a while to cool and clear my mind...

Well, it's not late to move forward since its beginning of the year! I'm moving forward as usual with more courage and positive thinking to start things up again!

For the meantime, i'm targeting to do my best in my studies and get a full scholarship when my degree starts in september! I CAN ACHIEVE IT and NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Besides that, i would like to wish good luck and all the best to my university friends who are sitting final exams! Ganbatte!

Looking back at the year 2010 will be memorable memory for me although there were some sad things happened. After all, it does make me even stronger and confident to move forward no matter what. Besides that, thank you to those who gave me advice and courage! I won't forget it! I'm sincerely grateful and thankful for having my mentor too! You help me a lot, by helping me going through the hard time and i'm not sure how to repay the kindness you have showed me and even now you continue showing me. Thank you~thank you.

Furthermore, the few last month of the year, although i lost some friends but i met lots of new friendly group of people and i'm happy to meet all of you! Although at first we are like strangers but now the bonds of friendships between us will continue growing! I won't take other people mistake and blame myself again! You have truly shown me that there are still lots of people like you out there who have the same goal and understanding like me, continuing supporting each other!

What a great day!!! After traveling to the south to spend time with someone that i like, now i'm back home again~

Tonight, i wished the time pass as slow as it can be and accompanied by the breeze of the sea, it seems to freeze the time on earth for this short period of time. Besides that, tonight i can't help looking at you as you looked very beautiful!!! I love staring at your hair when the gentle breeze blows your hair! I told myself this is the most beautiful woman i ever met in my life! We spent most of our time talking and laughing at the seaside and i didn't notice the time that passes by. I didn't know you love fireworks so much and what a coincident i bought it for our new year's eve date. I hope it will be the most memorable time for you! Thank you, TIME for answering my new year's eve wish and i sincerely appreciate it!!

It's been ages, i didn't feel such a warm happy feeling from my heart and now i can feel it again. I miss her so much and no words could described what i'm feeling now! Today,i spend a few hours with my mentor reviewing of what i have learned from him in the past!I also reflected with him about the lessons from my recent events!

Besides that, i learned a new sentences from a book. Although it was very difficult to understand it at first but now,i truly understand what does it mean! "Excellent leaders lead the best when they lead least"

Furthermore, i'm going to apply the 5 principles that i learned from a case study for my future development and my teams!

Dear Santa,

Thank you very much for giving me such a fun time together with my friends Alamgir and Yuan Ying.Although today,it was raining heavily in the afternoon,the laughter that we had, drown away the rain that fall from the sky!!!I appreciate and grateful for having wonderful blessing this year especially on this special season!

Today,i didn't expect that my host brother came back!Actually i thought was tomorrow or the day after.Now i'm the one who are surprised...hahahaha.

Anyway,welcome back Guilaume!!!I miss you so much and it's been 2 years you departed from Malaysia.I can recalled the time when we spend our time together while your stay in Malaysia was a fun and epic one.I can't forget those memorable time with you and the rest of the exchange students.

Besides that,i'm glad to have the chance to know your parents and your brother!You have a nice family ;-) Today,i'm very happy to spend time with you again,together with your parents!!! Well,i will visit you in France,soon!!!

Malaysia Leadership Seminar(MyLDS 2010)

Officially from 14th - 19th December 2010,i attended the conference organized by AIESEC UTM.Indeed,it was an awesome event and the only words i could described is UNFORGETTABLE and MEMORABLE!!!

Through out the whole conference,i learned lots of knowledge about AIESEC and i improved my soft skills! Now,i truly understand what a human capable of doing something which is impossible to possible!It's just that, you want to determine to set the goal and achieved it! Besides that, doing reflection by the end of the day,also help me in a way to understand things better. I would practice this action frequently in the future!

Furthermore,i make lots lots of new friends and i'm happy to know all of them. They add the colour into my life to make it even more beautiful! I can't wait to meet them again and i hope our friendship will flourish in the future!Now we are ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY supporting each other! I can't forget the roll calls and square dance! It brought us all together!

Just to add,one of my most unforgettable and sweetest memory during MyLDS 2010 was,when i met this most beautiful girl ever on earth!!It all begin,when i actually wanted to buy the AIESEC Malaysia t-shirt and she was the one who selling the t-shirt.That's the part of how i know her and from that moment onwards,i start to have conversation with her and she seems to be a nice person.I can't forget a part when she was voiceless due to cheering and i was joking with her by communicating sign language and she hit my head,ouch~it hurts actually...hahahaha.Our relationship grows day by day through out the conference.I told myself sincerely and positively that i will make her to be the most luckiest girl on earth and i will even give her my whole heart!!!When there were line dance performed by AIESECer from other university,we went out to dance together with them and she taught me,some line dance which i'm not familiar.I taught her the line dance performed by us which was DJ Got Us Fall In Love Again by Usher.The last night during the A.M.A.N Night's,she looks completely beautiful with the white orchid flower that i slide on her left side hair.We dance together through out the whole night.All the moment i spend with her,i sincerely treasured it the most!!!Now,she likes the song "Dj Got Us Fall In Love Again" for the memory it brings to her and same goes for me too!!!If this time,the relationship come true,this song will be our symbol for our relationship!Although i chat with her 3hours ago,i still miss her so much!!!

Moreover,i respect my current Local Chapter President: Le Hoang Long!Indeed he is an amazing guy!He sacrificed a lot to create the foundation of AIESEC LC for University Nottingham Malaysia.I will continue this legacy and growth this LC into the best AIESEC LC in Malaysia which will last forever!This is my promised and i will make it come true!Thanks to Hany and Chelsie too!Without both of you,this LC UNMC cant sustain!Next year,i will make three of you proud!!!Thanks Long and Hany,for your guidance and advices!Although i'm a successful leader,humbly to say that i learned lots of things from both of you!!Learning is never ends and it's the greatest assents on earth!Three of you,humbly deserved my respect as a true leaders!!I would like to wish you All The Best in the Future!!!

Remarkable Day

This week i'm attending Malaysia Leadership Seminar(MyLDS) in UTM,Johor from tuesday until sunday.

Yesterday,i arrived 2am in the university and after half hour i went to bed as tomorrow i'm having long day.Today was a long and tiring event but i really enjoying it and i learned lots of thing from today's seminar. I enjoyed the dances and roll calls as well. I was happy as well to meet my 3 ex schoolmates at the seminar. What a great feeling to meet them again.

Besides that,today i even met my Idol which i didn't even expect to meet him today not even in this event but he appeared out of now where walking in front of me!!!The precious moment when i shake his hand and talk to him for a few minutes,make me feel to improve myself 100xxx before i could be like him!No matter what,today i promised that i will catch up and be like him!!!I want to create a history in my life and in this generation!!!

Furthermore,i make lots lots and lots of new friends ^_^ they are all nice.

Well,i think got to pen off now.Tomorrow i have a long long day again. I wouldn't want to miss a single thing in the session. Good night everyone!

Looking at today,i wondered how much have a changed. Deep in me, i keep asking myself. Did i changed for the better or the worse? Well, the only feeling is, i have become a better person than before...What i miss the most was the old me! Where have my courage and braveness have gone???Is it after a long period of time, i trained myself in my organization as a leader to be more aware and sensitive of today's cultures made me into a more passive person?

Today, a course mate of mine whom i sincerely admired her courage and braveness!!!I'm happy that, she help me to know some one and what struck me the most was where have the old part of me gone too?I miss the old part of me!!! Is it because of my sensitivity of not to hurt people's feeling have changed me? Is it because of my integration have changed me? Sigh~~i only wish i could know the exact answer i want now...

No matter what, it's time for me to change myself again and have to tune myself with the current environment.I have to be brave,courage and dare to speak out again!!! Change for the good!!!Thanks girl, for lifting up my spirit again!!

Its been a while i didn't eat burger since i start my university and this morning,some one cooked for me burger and it taste so delicious!Yummmmmy~~~

Before afternoon, i went to meet my lecturer to discuss about my course work and everything goes smoothly. After that, spending half of my afternoon preparing my presentation for Oral Communication Studies. In the evening,i attended the salsa class and after all i'm improving my dance!Thanks to some of the salsa dancer for giving me advice and tips!After all,dancing is to express oneself and enjoying it ^_^ wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~

After that,i went for some yukata photo session and it was so fun.From 7pm - 8pm,i had AIESEC meeting, followed by dinner and watched japanese movie - 僕の初恋をキミに捧ぐ. Indeed it was a touching movie and i cried some part...

Well,it was a great experience after all!I didn't have any regret for not selected to be the last 10 participants to attend the international conference in singapore.

I'm grateful,thankful and i felt lucky to be shortlisted as the 25participants out of the 50 participants who went for the debate for the 1st half. My lost for the 2nd half was a thrill and enjoyment for me.I learned lots of thing from this.

What a hilarious ^0^

In the evening, i went out with my friend for a hair cut and made a new friend. On our way to kajang, in the bus , i was watching at this 2 person love quarrel conversation(they are not couple~LOL) it was so funny looking at them smiling and arguing at each other. 1 support Manchester United and the other 1 support Liverpool,me? Although, i don't really watch football but i'm a big fan of Chelsea!!YEAH!!!

On my way back, it was again 3 of us in the bus...I enjoyed the conversation and laughing all the way back to campus. What a tiring and joyful day after hanging out with my friends ^_^

Besides that, today, i'm learning a new musical instrument which is harmonica ^_^ although, i find it interesting but in the other hand it is =.='' complicated as well but i'm doing my best to learn it in a very flexible way.

Furthermore, I did some research about harmonica and i find that the notes are almost the same with my saxophone but just that the blowing technique is different @.@ hmm,need to do some experiment...Over all, i find that it is a improvise musical instrument.

What a joyful and tiring day! It's been quite sometimes i didn't feel so happy and keeping myself occupied. Since the day i came back from Japan, i had not done anything which keep me occupied for the past 5hours...

After all, i'm happy again to fulfill my needs as a leader. By reading lots of self improvement books, i will apply it in my daily life to contribute to the society. Just to see their smile after helping them lessen their burden makes me happy too ^_^ When everyone is happy, i'm happy!

Besides that, i'm back to my sport. I'm continue practicing my basketball and hope to regain my skills again as a center forward! It's tiring to push myself but i won't give up! Mr Captain Basketball, please train me!!!

Furthermore, i'm back practicing my saxophone. I want to be a maestro jazz player! Tonight, i went for jamming with my friend and his friends. I met a new family in the music group. Long time i didn't meet my previous musician friends but i felt happy again to meet other musician as well. Hiro and the group, please wait for me next year ya! I promised i will be skillful enough to join the Asia Jazz Tour!

My mind now vexed, I felt contempt,

Some contempt for my friend who gave me advice,

But more for myself, now I’m paying the price,

When I changed my idea, to accommodate my friend,

It was no longer mine, I was trying to pretend,

I sold myself out, when I listened to those,

Now I feel bad, why do you suppose?,

Then a voice inside responded...

Not because it wasn’t good, because the idea was theirs,

You stopped listening to yourself because you didn’t believe,

That your idea, on it merits you could achieve,

Today i did quite a few activities and it made my day wonderful ^_^ I'm satisfied that i have improved my skill in my salsa dance although there are more practice which i need to do in the class and whenever i have the free time.

Besides that,i have a short meeting in AISEC and i was appointed to be the Chief Delegate. I'm going to do my best for it and improving my sub-skills.I CAN DO IT!!!

Hmmm,this part i'm not sure what to write but there was a strange feeling from my heart which i could not explained.In the evening,i spend some time together with the person that i like by having dinner together with friends,we even chat among our self about some topics and after that i accompanied her around the computer lab(i know it doesn't sound romantic but we are in campus) Just that few precious hours that we spend together,made me understand her better.

2days ago,i have my training with my CEO in the office near Midvalley.That faithful day on my way back,my handphone was stolen by a pickpocket at the Midvalley's KTM station.Indeed this pickpocket is a professional guy.I can't even feel his hand slipping through my left jeans pocket.

One thing which made me sad the most was i just bought the handphone and it didn't even reach one month old...sigh...

My New Life In University

Haroooo,everyone~~~

It's great to be studying in the middle of no where especially in Malaysia, where surrounded by palm oil plantations,lush green of bushes and trees.At first,i felt kind of creepy to see nature around me but now it feels good to be with nature again.It makes me feel like a Tarzan...hahahahaha.

Officially one month,i'm studying in University of Notthingham Malaysia Campus(UNMC)...Yaaaah~~~In the beginning,i felt nervous about the life in university but now i'm used to it.The life here is great,having great lecturers and not to forget,my friendly course mates!

Hmmm~~let's talked about my lecturers and course mates.The first lecturer teach me,Written Communication and Study.He is kind of weird in his very own way.He loves polar bear and orang utan so much until it reminds me that he looks like a caveman sometimes.By the way,don't eat Kit Kats!!!It will kill the ORANG UTANS!!!Please join the campaign of saving polar bear and orang utan by fighting global warming and not eating Kit Kats~ The second lecturer teach me Oral Communication Studies.Now i know he is a type of lecturer which particular about pronunciation in spelling.Recently i was teased by him in a way that when i read some of the words which i can't pronounce exactly,he keep asking me to repeat it.I feel irritated...Gaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!Oh yeah,first time when i met him,he reminds me of the slamdunk character:Captain Akagi a.k.a Gorrilla...LOL~~~Besides that,he cycle to the campus sometimes and he is an environmental friendly too...

The third lecturer teach me, Media and Texts:Society.Apparently,i don't know much about her yet but the subject which she teach,i'm interested as it have connection about the society which we live in today.I remembered a part where she showed our class an advertisement about Firefly.It's so pathetic now a days to see how the company attract customers.The last lecturer teach me Applied IT for the Arts.She is quite expert in IT.Furthermore,last week i just discovered that she is from the same hometown.What a small world...

About my course mates they are all interesting in their very own ways.Partially are locals and international such as China,Bangladesh,Iran,Pakistan and Indonesia.Overall there are 19 of us in the class now.Firstly,this China guy.He is good in his cooking and speak lots of mandarin.Even now,my mandarin is improving.Since both of us share some similarity we are like my twin brothers.Hahaha~~There is few more person i would like to mention but i categorize this 3 young lady as a big fan of anime.Each time when i hang out with 2 or 3 of them,i will always drown in their conversation especially when they started to talk about anime @.@ although i'm drown but i of enjoy it.There is another interesting course mate of mine and his name is Josephina~Recently i called him Casanova due to unexpected situation which he did.Can't mention it thought...The other course mate of mine,name Yeggi.First time,when i attended the class and i introduce my name as Dexter.She keep calling me Dexter like few minutes once.It's very funny and actually it lighten up day day since no one did that funny scene in ages.Hahaha~Jeng jeng jeng,her twin sister Shaggi...biologically not her real sister though.Only thing i know about her is she is good in hip hop dancing.

Overall my life here was good with great lecturers and friendly course mates!!!

At last,a sign of relieved have passed.I got my new saxophone and it's like a dream since i was young to have it and now i got it...Yeaaaaaah~~~.Am i dreaming???!!Of course not!Now i' m happy that i own one now!This week,I'm going to start my music class and going to put lots lots of extra effort in it! Being a professional saxophonist is also another part of my dream and i believe i can achieve it!

Just can't believe it now,watching another part of my life unfold!Music is universal and it is like my soul mates.It fills the thirst of my soul and wanna bring back the joy of my life again...Next year i' m planning to join my friend's band and hope to perform with them together and some local artist!

Besides that,i' m naming my saxophone- April, since i bought her in april.From now on,she will be my 2nd most important companion in my life and i want to treasure it the rest of my life.Above from everything,if i' m bless i want to get a degree in music too!Well,May God Bless Me with my plans!Now,let's start with the music class 1st...

Well this part of my blog i dedicate it to all my friends who were once before an exchange students...Miss all of you always!

Life is isn’t easy as what you think…So much is said about being an exchange student, but only when you experience and it makes sense. It is definitely not easy and whether I want it or not, I’ll end up changing and growing. Once my exchange is done I finally realize that I can handle way more than you could and would ever imagine. I need to appreciate things that I have because they might be gone sooner than I think. Life is not easy and true friendships are really forever.

The best part about being an exchange student is not about the parties or places I get to go. Not the independence and life experience, but the friendships. I’m not talking about the friends I made from my host country but about the other exchange student friends. For most of us, they were the very first "friends" I had in this new experience. I met them in orientation meetings or trips, etc. They were the first people I actually talk to without having the fear of speaking in a different language. No matter what, there’s a big difference between "host country friends" and "exchange student friends". Exchange students have a special bond despite language and cultural differences; we will understand one another because we experience similar situations.

The hardest part of facing the end of my exchange year is to accept the fact that it’s going to take a while until I have the chance to see my exchange friends again. Because once I leave my host country, deep down inside, I know that sooner or later I’ll be back, but when am I going to have enough money and time to travel the world again? Some of us became friends because we were placed in the same schools, lived in the town nearby each other and others we met along the year, during trips and meetings. First day nobody knows each other, everyone is shy... By the end of the trip everybody knows everybody and says good bye in the last day and as sad as when I left my friends and family in my home countries...How many lifetime friendships and romances started with. "How can I say this in your language?" It’s hard to believe that so much can start from such a simple sentence! Does this story sound familiar to you? Just wait, it gets worse... The very first trip, when it is time to leave is not so terrible because I have the whole year ahead of me, so the chances of meeting everyone again are very big. Time goes by and your year is slowly getting to an end and I will say probably it will be the very last time I’ll see most of my exchange friends for "God-knows-how-many-years"...This feeling is just horrible!!! It’s when you wish things would never end. Than I would wish I could turn back time and do everything again, and maybe do what I want but never had the guts to, like kissing that girl/boy or spending more time with A, B and C...

There I go, saying good bye, fighting the tears and making promises to people that I could never imagine I would meet in my life again. Unfortunately, things don’t always work as I want and not that everything is possible. Once my year is done, it is when I realize who I will always miss the most, my exchange friends spread all over the world. One day I’m going to be at a Geography or history class and as some countries are mentioned, I’ll think about my friends that are halfway around the world away from me, and I’ll have to fight the tears again. Their occasional letters, phone calls and emails are going to be of unbelievable value and will bring joy to my day.

Most of us never thank these friends and never said how much they mean to us. So here it is 'THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU! You are all wonderful, special and unique, and I’ve been made a better person just by knowing you. You’ve made my year unforgettable. And I don’t think I’ll ever forget the time we spent together! Hopefully we will meet again someday! Doesn't matter how many miles keep us apart. I’ll always be here for you. The end of our exchange year doesn’t mean the end of friendships. Last three years HALE ST MARY'S School from Perth,Australia did a Singapore Malaysia Tour 2006. One of their list program in the tour was Hale ST MARY'S Concert Band which was organised by the Rotary International Club of Melaka with the help of Ian,which help the most to make this event a successful one.It was held in Pay Fong High School and we got quite a big respond from the locals.

Well,let me brief you alittle about the background of this two schools:

Hale School
Hale School is the oldest independent boys’ school in Western Australia. It was founded in 1858 by the first Anglican Bishop of Perth, Dr Mathew Blagden Hale, a clergyman, educator and social pioneer. The School, which was then known as ‘The Bishop’s Collegiate School’, opened its doors on 28 June 1858, with an initial enrolment of 22 students.

First campus was established at The Cloisters, St George’s Terrace. In 1914 the School (which was called ‘The High School’ between 1878 and 1929), moved to a bigger site at Havelock Street, West Perth. In 1961, having acquired the name Hale School in 1929, it moved to Wembley Downs, where it is currently situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.

Hale School is an Anglican day and boarding school, offering primary and secondary education through to Tertiary Entrance Examination level. Whilst day scholars are enrolled from Year 1 to Year 12, boarders are normally accepted from Year 7 to Year 12.
Current enrolment numbers total 1,300, comprising 300 students in the Primary School (Years 1 to 7) and 1,000 in the Senior School (Years 8 to 12). Of this total there are 202 boarders, from various parts of Western Australia and other countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Dubai.

St Mary's Anglican Girl's School

St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School was founded when two private girls’ schools operating in West Perth amalgamated. The school opened on 14 September 1921 with the Rev C L Riley as Acting Principal. Later two other schools joined them.

Miss E Dannatt, Headmistress from 1923-1937, greatly influenced the early development of St Mary’s, and today she is remembered in the naming of Dannatt Hall and the Dannatt Bursary. Following Miss Dannatt’s resignation, St Mary’s had a succession of Headmistresses: Miss K Carter (1938-1941), Miss B Hamilton (1942-1944), Mrs E Myles (1945-1956) and Mrs T Macdonald (1957-1965). It was during Mrs Macdonald’s period as Headmistress that the decision was made to move St Mary’s from West Perth to Karrinyup.

In 1964 a building appeal was launched to develop the present site in Karrinyup. Under the guidance of Mrs A Symington (1965-1982) St Mary’s operated in both West Perth and Karrinyup until 1970 when the whole school was finally situated in Karrinyup. Mrs Audrey Jackson was appointed as Principal in 1983 (1983-1997) and continued the development of facilities with the establishment of the Education Support Unit, the development of the Drama and Music and Art Centres, and the completion of the Bedbrook Redenbach Science Laboratories. The new Junior School was opened in 1993 and the renovations to the Mathematics Teaching Centre were completed for the 1994 school year. The Audrey Jackson Learning Technologies Centre, including the refurbished library and new computer laboratories, was opened during 1996. In April 1997 Mrs Lynne Thomson became the eighth Principal of the school. In 1998, Anne Symington House underwent refurbishment and renovation to convert St Mary's boarding facilities into first class accommodation. In September 1998, construction commenced on the Performing Arts Centre and on 17 March 2000 The Lady Wardle Performing Arts Centre was officially opened.

Aikido(合気道)

Aikido (合気道 ,aikidō) is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs. Aikido is often translated as "the Way of unifying (with) life energy"or as "the Way of harmonious spirit."Ueshiba's goal was to create an art that practitioners could use to defend themselves while also protecting their attacker from injury.
Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. This requires very little physical energy, as the aikidōka (aikido practitioner) "leads" the attacker's momentum using entering and turning movements. The techniques are completed with various throws or joint locks. Aikido can be categorized under the general umbrella of grappling arts.
Aikido derives mainly from the martial art of Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu, but began to diverge from it in the late 1920s, partly due to Ueshiba's involvement with the Ōmoto-kyō religion. Ueshiba's early students' documents bear the term aiki-jūjutsu. Many of Ueshiba's senior students have different approaches to aikido, depending on when they studied with him. Today aikido is found all over the world in a number of styles, with broad ranges of interpretation and emphasis. However, they all share techniques learned from Ueshiba and most have concern for the well-being of the attacker. This attitude has been at the core of criticisms of aikido and related arts.

Etymology and basic philosophy

The word "aikido" is formed of three kanji:
合 - ai - joining, harmonizing
気 - ki - spirit, life energy
道 - dō - way, path

The term dō connects the practice of aikido with the philosophical concept of Tao, which can be found in martial arts such as judo and kendo, and in more peaceful arts such as Japanese calligraphy (shodō), flower arranging (kadō) and tea ceremony (chadō or sadō). The term aiki refers to the martial arts principle or tactic of blending with an attacker's movements for the purpose of controlling their actions with minimal effort. One applies aiki by understanding the rhythm and intent of the attacker to find the optimal position and timing to apply a counter-technique. Historically, aiki was mastered for the purpose of killing; however in aikido one seeks to control an aggressor without causing harm. The founder of aikido declared: "To control aggression without inflicting injury is the Art of Peace." A number of aikido practitioners interpret aikido metaphorically, seeing parallels between aikido techniques and other methods for conflict resolution. These kanji are identical to the Korean versions of the characters that form the word hapkido, a Korean martial art. Although there are no known direct connections between the two arts, it is suspected that the founders of both arts trained in Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu.

History

Aikido was created by Morihei Ueshiba (植芝盛平 Ueshiba Morihei, 14 December 1883–26 April 1969), referred to by some aikido practitioners as Ōsensei ("Great Teacher"). Ueshiba envisioned aikido not only as the synthesis of his martial training, but also an expression of his personal philosophy of universal peace and reconciliation. During Ueshiba's lifetime and continuing today, aikido has evolved from the koryū (old-style martial arts) that Ueshiba studied into a wide variety of expressions by martial artists throughout the world.

Initial development

Ueshiba developed aikido primarily during the late 1920s through the 1930s through the synthesis of the older martial arts that he had studied.The core martial art from which aikido derives is Daitō-ryū aiki-jūjutsu, which Ueshiba studied directly with Takeda Sokaku, the reviver of that art. Additionally, Ueshiba is known to have studied Tenjin Shin'yō-ryū with Tozawa Tokusaburō in Tokyo in 1901, Gotōha Yagyū Shingan-ryū under Nakai Masakatsu in Sakai from 1903 to 1908, and judo with Kiyoichi Takagi (高木喜代子 Takagi Kiyoichi, 1894–1972) in Tanabe in 1911.
The art of Daitō-ryū is the primary technical influence on aikido. Along with empty-handed throwing and joint-locking techniques, Ueshiba incorporated training movements with weapons, such as those for the spear (yari), short staff (jō), and perhaps the bayonet (銃剣 ,jūken). However, aikido derives much of its technical structure from the art of swordsmanship (kenjutsu).
Ueshiba moved to Hokkaidō in 1912, and began studying under Takeda Sokaku in 1915. His official association with Daitō-ryū continued until 1937.However, during the latter part of that period, Ueshiba had already begun to distance himself from Takeda and the Daitō-ryū. At that time Ueshiba was referring to his martial art as "Aiki Budō". It is unclear exactly when Ueshiba began using the name "aikido", but it became the official name of the art in 1942 when the Greater Japan Martial Virtue Society (Dai Nippon Butoku Kai) was engaged in a government sponsored reorganization and centralization of Japanese martial arts.

As you can see the above picture,we don't use any colour belt because in Aikido when we practice it, we practice equality but we know the different ("kyu/grades") between us by the swiftness of our movement and techniques.

In Aikido we do not practice alone but with our partners(Uke and Nage)

Roles of uke and nage

Aikido training is based primarily on two partners practicing pre-arranged forms (kata) rather than freestyle practice. The basic pattern is for the receiver of the technique (uke) to initiate an attack against the thrower (投げ nage, also referred to as 取り tori, or 仕手 shite, depending on aikido style), who neutralises this attack with an aikido technique.Both halves of the technique, that of uke and that of nage, are considered essential to aikido training. Both are studying aikido principles of blending and adaptation. Nage learns to blend with and control attacking energy, while uke learns to become calm and flexible in the disadvantageous, off-balance positions in which nage places them. This "receiving" of the technique is called ukemi. Uke continuously seeks to regain balance and cover vulnerabilities (e.g., an exposed side), while nage uses position and timing to keep uke off-balance and vulnerable. In more advanced training, uke will sometimes apply reversal techniques (返し技 ,kaeshi-waza) to regain balance and pin or throw nage.
Ukemi (受身) refers to the act of receiving a technique. Good ukemi involves a parry or breakfall that is used to avoid pain or injury, such as joint dislocations or atemi.

Initial attacks

Aikido techniques are usually a defense against an attack; therefore, to practice aikido with their partner, students must learn to deliver various types of attacks. Although attacks are not studied as thoroughly as in striking-based arts, "honest" attacks (a strong strike or an immobilizing grab) are needed to study correct and effective application of technique.
Many of the strikes (打ち ,uchi) of aikido are often said to resemble cuts from a sword or other grasped object, which may suggest origins in techniques intended for armed combat. Other techniques, which appear to explicitly be punches (tsuki), are also practiced as thrusts with a knife or sword. Kicks are generally reserved for upper-level variations; reasons cited include that falls from kicks are especially dangerous, and that kicks (high kicks in particular) were uncommon during the types of combat prevalent in feudal Japan. Some basic strikes include:

Front-of-the-head strike (正面打ち ,shōmen'uchi) a vertical knifehand strike to the head.
Side-of-the-head strike (横面打ち ,yokomen'uchi) a diagonal knifehand strike to the side of the head or neck.
Chest thrust (胸突き ,mune-tsuki) a punch to the torso. Specific targets include the chest, abdomen, and solar plexus. Same as "middle-level thrust" (中段突き ,chūdan-tsuki), and "direct thrust" (直突き ,choku-tsuki).
Face thrust (顔面突き ,ganmen-tsuki) a punch to the face. Same as "upper-level thrust" (上段突き ,jōdan-tsuki).

Beginners in particular often practice techniques from grabs, both because they are safer and because it is easier to feel the energy and lines of force of a hold than a strike. Some grabs are historically derived from being held while trying to draw a weapon; a technique could then be used to free oneself and immobilize or strike the attacker who is grabbing the defender. The following are examples of some basic grabs:

Single-hand grab (片手取り ,katate-dori) one hand grabs one wrist.
Both-hands grab (諸手取り ,morote-dori) both hands grab one wrist.
Both-hands grab (両手取り ,ryōte-dori) both hands grab both wrists. Same as "double single-handed grab" (両片手取り ,ryōkatate-dori).
Shoulder grab (肩取り ,kata-dori) a shoulder grab. "Both-shoulders-grab" is ryōkata-dori (両肩取り)
Chest grab (胸取り ,mune-dori) grabbing the (clothing of the) chest. Same as "collar grab" (襟取り ,eri-dori).

Basic techniques

The following are a sample of the basic or widely practiced throws and pins. The precise terminology for some may vary between organisations and styles, so what follows are the terms used by the Aikikai Foundation. Note that despite the names of the first five techniques listed, they are not universally taught in numeric order.

First technique (一教 ,ikkyō) a control using one hand on the elbow and one hand near the wrist which leverages uke to the ground.This grip also applies pressure into the ulnar nerve at the wrist.
Second technique (二教 ,nikyō) a pronating wristlock that torques the arm and applies painful nerve pressure. (There is an adductive wristlock or Z-lock in ura version.)
Third technique (三教 ,sankyō) a rotational wristlock that directs upward-spiraling tension throughout the arm, elbow and shoulder.
Fourth technique (四教 ,yonkyō) a shoulder control similar to ikkyō, but with both hands gripping the forearm. The knuckles (from the palm side) are applied to the recipient's radial nerve against the periosteum of the forearm bone.
Fifth technique (五教 ,gokyō) visually similar to ikkyō, but with an inverted grip of the wrist, medial rotation of the arm and shoulder, and downward pressure on the elbow. Common in knife and other weapon take-aways.
Four-direction throw (四方投げ ,shihōnage) The hand is folded back past the shoulder, locking the shoulder joint.
Forearm return (小手返し ,kotegaeshi) a supinating wristlock-throw that stretches the extensor digitorum.
Breath throw (呼吸投げ ,kokyūnage) a loosely used term for various types of mechanically unrelated techniques, although they generally do not use joint locks like other techniques.
Entering throw (入身投げ ,iriminage) throws in which nage moves through the space occupied by uke. The classic form superficially resembles a "clothesline" technique.
Heaven-and-earth throw (天地投げ ,tenchinage) beginning with ryōte-dori; moving forward, nage sweeps one hand low ("earth") and the other high ("heaven"), which unbalances uke so that he or she easily topples over.
Hip throw (腰投げ ,koshinage) aikido's version of the hip throw. Nage drops his or her hips lower than those of uke, then flips uke over the resultant fulcrum.
Figure-ten throw (十字投げ ,jūjinage) or figure-ten entanglement (十字絡み ,jūjigarami) a throw that locks the arms against each other (The kanji for "10" is a cross-shape: 十).
Rotary throw (回転投げ ,kaitennage) nage sweeps the arm back until it locks the shoulder joint, then uses forward pressure to throw.

My One and Only One Family

As you see this picture,it's my family consist of my dad,mum,brother,me and not to forget one of host brother from Spain!My family is my top priority in my life and followed by my own life...Looking backed in my past,i really had a very very hard and tough time with my family and friends.In a period of time i stayed with my aunt and later on backed to my family.Each second of my life i'm struggling to be alive.Indeed there is always a blessing in disguise which help me through during my tough time that is my AFS organization.I have been involved in it 6years ago.Besides that i have been involving myself in Rotary International and Tzu Chi Malaysia.Recently there was a miracle happened in my family and i glad it help to close the gaps,between me and my family.God,thank you very much for answering my prayer!

Firstly,i would like to introduce my dad.He is the "Best Dad" which i ever have in my life.After the miracle happened,the understanding between me and my dad became better.Although sometimes the way he taught me are quite hard for me to accept it but actually he did it for my own good.10 years ago,my dad worked as a chief cashier in a bank but almost every night he came backed late.Later on,the bank offered VSS for the staff.For those who like to continue they will be transfered to a different place,maybe selangor,penang and etc.Those who wish to stop,they will take VSS where the bank paid a large sum of money but it depends the period of service to the bank.So my dad took it due to condition of my brother(i will tell you later about my brother).Now my dad is an insurance agent and he is happy with his job.

Next is my mum!She is the "Best Mum" which i ever have in my life too!She is quite a caring and loving mum.Besides that,i love my mum cooking too.That's why i'm still alive till today,LOL...Now my mum work,in a private housing loan company "MBSB".Almost everyday she is very busy with her work.By the time she got back home is almost 8pm or 8.30pm.Well,although she is busy with her work,there is always time for her to spend time with the family.

Now,comes to my brother!Indeed i have a very "special" and "unique" brother.Although he is not fortunate as me but he is always in happy and healthy life.Well,quite a long story to tell you of what happened to my brother but i would just like to stick it privately.As we grow up together,it makes me understand more and more about him!That's why i involved myself in volunteering such as Rotary International and Tzu Chi to feel and understand the suffer,pain and difficulty of others...People always say:Those who never go through suffering will never appreciate things around them and take it for granted.That's why i always tell myself:If i compare those who are above me,i will never ever be happy but i'm always feel grateful and thankful with everything i have!That's what my dad always teach me...

From the bottom of my heart,i'm grateful and thankful to God for giving me such a lovely family,friends,teachers and "Everything"!!!

First and foremost " i'm just a simple guy" if you think i am after going throught my testimonies.My personality is more or less like a winding road.Sometimes i can think that other people just disturbing me.Other times i am generous and i wonder what problems other people may have.I like being with people if we understand each other but i don't like spending time with someone who i know our relationship won't go long.Just want to let everyone know there's only golden rules on my friendship and that are to be sincere,respect for others,trust and forgive.I love those who appreciate me and accept for who i am and not what i have.I don't have problems with being alone if i think it's the best for me.I am a person who knows how to adapt to new situations.

I love Japan very much especially the unique "Culture" of it.I can' t explain to you 100% about it but the best is,you have to be there to experience it!Well,i had traveled some parts of Japan and completely marvelous place to travel!About my hobbies or past time i have a lists of it such reading,jogging,playing basketball,surfing the net,making new friends,traveling,volunteering and learning languages.In the past i had been learning japanese language but now i'm picking up spanish,french and a little bit german.Indeed it help me in my future ambition,to be an ambassador in United Nations!
